About
The Story Behind the Camera
Anna Victoria Oliveira Castillo
Anna is a film production graduate with a passion for stories that live in quiet, human moments. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Film Production, where she concentrated on directing and editing while building hands-on experience across every stage of the filmmaking process — from pre-production scheduling to final color and sound mix.
Her thesis film, Paper Lanterns, screened at her university's senior showcase and set the tone for the kind of work she wants to keep making: intimate, character-first, and unafraid of silence.
Anna approaches every project as a collaboration. Whether she's behind the camera, in the director's chair, or at the editing bay, her goal is the same — protect the emotional truth of the story, frame by frame.

Core Skills
Creative Vision
Anna is drawn to stories about people at inflection points — the moment before a decision, the silence after a confession. She believes the camera should never call attention to itself unless the story demands it, favoring patient, deliberate visual language over spectacle.
